Hi! I’m Sophie Pirrera, a 22-year-old recent grad, figuring it all out. I’ve dreamt of creating something under the name Sweet Escape since high school, and now it’s finally real. I graduated from Marist University (formerly Marist College—it’s marketing, you get it!) with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Fashion Merchandising. I also picked up a “pathway” in Spanish, which is basically a mini-minor with a fancier name.

My passions live at the intersection of pop culture, live events/music (don’t worry, I’m strictly audience-only, I would never subject you to my singing), OG YouTube, and dance. I hope to build my career with these interests as the backbone. My goal will always be to make people smile—because when you smile, I smile (bonus points if you get the JB reference).

After graduation, I channeled my skills and interests into building Sweet Escape Media, my freelance business.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me baking, cooking, or lost in a playlist (favorites include Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Shawn Mendes, and Hozier—forever a pop girl at heart).
